Literally any desktop in that price range will massively outperform any laptop in that price range. A $700 desktop will kick a $1,400 laptops ass in performance. Whether you need portability or performance is up to you but some games just aren't going to run as well on a laptop as they would on a desktop no matter how much you spend. That's the trade off that you have to make for portability.

You would be surprised how demanding minecraft is on max settings. An HD 4600 will likely barely muster 60 fps on max settings @ 1366 x 768 (the screen resolution of most laptops these days). At 1080p it will likely struggle to maintain 30-40 fps.

You can simply google them to find out what they are.
AA stands for anti-aliasing. It is a term used for any method of removing aliasing. Which is a type of visual artifact/flaw/distortion produced by rasterization.
AF stands for anisotropic filtering. It is a type of texture filtering used to remove visual artifacts from textures generated by texture projection.
Intel is a company (Integrated electronics corporation) which produces CPUs, chipsets, wifi modules, and other electronics components used in computers.
Their current lineup of cpus is divided into several groups (brand names) that separate their products based on features. The models in the higher groups are usually faster but not always depending on TDP and what specification you're comparing. Models from the higher groups are also generally more expensive. Those groups from highest to lowest are: i7, i5, i3, pentium dual core, and celeron. All server cpus are branded with the name Xeon regardless of model. Ultra low power cpus are all branded Atom regardless of model. Those are generally used for netbooks, nettops, tablets, phablets, MID/UMD, CE, smartphones, etc. Not conventional desktops and laptops.

They're virtually identical. They likely even use the same ODM.
Pick whichever brand/company you prefer or whichever one you think looks better. Personally I have had better luck with lenovo.
