I searched but couldn't find anything worthwhile, including google, other than the other topic about a black screen on the front page here but that didn't give any answers.

I have a AMD Athlon 2.6ghz Dual Core, Radeon HD 4670 512MB, 2gb RAM and Windows XP. The game is the Resident Evil remake. I have the iso's for it but when I try to open it up, it opens another window and shows 4 lines of yellow text which are information about my computer, then one by one they go away and eventually only a black screen is left.

There's stats that fluctuate telling me the FPS and what not but there's only a black screen, no video no audio, i've left it there for a little while but nothing happens, what do I do now? Thanks.

Normally play around with the graphics settings fixes this sort of problem, that or updating directx 9 (if you have vista you have directx10 but you still need to install directx9 also) and also uninstalling and then reinstalling your graphics card drivers to the latest version
