I'm trying out this Dolphin Emulator for the first time and went through the stickies here (http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/thread-3533.html) to set it up for general use and checked out youtube. Got some games, one for gamecube and one for wii, both of them has windows crashing when trying to run the ISO or GMC files. Can't figure out what the problem is. Here's my specs:

Intel I5 M-430 CPU - 2.27GHz
MEMORY RAM - 4 GB
Windows 7 64 bit
Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 1754MB DVMT (128MB dedicated)

Using build version: Dolphin_x64_r4771

Just got the laptop a month ago. I was looking on youtube and it said that this video card has issues with dolphin. Wonder if any of the other builds would be a workaround. Seems like a waste, everything in in the specs seems like it falls within the requirements.

Error I'm getting says:

cannot create opengl renderer.

Intel's site says that my video card supports Open GL 2.1 and Direct X 10

I don't see what rule I violated from those terms based on what I originally stated, but I figured out a workaround from youtubing being the direct3d filter, which works, for my video card for some reason. OpenGL does not work with Intel Cards or at least in my case it doesn't.

Any explanation why?

openGL ussually not work if u are using intel graphics. if you want use dolphin to play wii/gc games using intel graphics, try using direct3D plugin and latest directX

I though that for the name of the path in the dolphin window that you downloaded the game
