Hey guys,

I bought a couple of cheap USB Bluetooth dongles to try and hook my Wiimote up to Dolphin, but they all failed. Miserably.

I'm wondering if there's a device you could recommend that you know works for Dolphin 3.0 on Windows7 64-bit, so I don't end up wasting any more money?

Preferably, I'd like it to use Microsoft Bluetooth Stack and not rely on BlueSoleil.

Your pc will install bluetooth driver to only one bluetooth dongle.

I don't think you'll be able to use them all at once.

I'm not looking to use them all at once.

I bought one device: it failed.

I bought another: it failed.

I'm just asking for a confirmed working USB Bluetooth device that will work with Win7 64-bit and Dolphin 3.0.

I have rocketfish bluetooth dongle (RF-MRBTAD) that work well with wiimote and ps3 controller.

Bought two for $2 + $4.99 shipping from amazon.com Big Grin

BTW I think you should tell us more about why your bluetooth has failed and we might be able to find what caused it.

My bluetooth devices I bought were cheap ones: both came with BlueSoleil 2.x and were under £3 (I'm from UK, btw).

The Wiimote would connect to BlueSoleil and I would pair it up and everything would be working fine, but when I opened Dolphin, I could not get it to establish a connection.

It kept giving me the error message "cannot find device with Microsoft Bluetooth Stack", and hitting the "Refresh" button didn't do anything.

Then I got BlueSoleil 8.x and the same thing happened (btw, my Wiimote is a standard, first-party one).

BlueSoleil... I believe that is why Dolphin unable to recognize your bluetooth.

You will need to uninstall bluesoleil's bluetooth drivers to let Microsoft install its bluetooth drivers.

Tried this by following your guide you posted in another thread, but Windows 7 decided to replace my drivers with a CSR Bluetooth Radio Driver instead.

Any ideas?
