Hello and thank you for taking the time to read this thread.

I've recently downloaded Dolphin emulator from the play store and Im trying to play Need for speed underground 2 but I cant get the rwcing to run right, I've been successful getting 59/60 fps on the start menu with the songs playing really well, but as soon as I press the Star button my fps drop a lot and by the time im at the race the game goes to 5-16 fps making it kinda unplayable, Anyone has the right settings for this game?

These are my phone specifications

OS Android 8.1 (Oreo)
Chipset Qualcomm SDM450 Snapdragon 450 (14 nm)
CPU Octa-core 1.8 GHz Cortex-A53
GPU Adreno 506
Memory
Card slot microSD, up to 256 GB
Internal 32 GB, 3 GB RAM

Thank you for your time

Your hardware just isn't good enough.

Yep, the SD 450 is just not quite powerful enough to emulate many GC/Wii games smoothly. You should try light weight games like Smash Bros. Melee or Luigi's Mansion instead.

Snapdragon 450 is too weak for Dolphin. Some phones with that processor ship 32-bit Android and don't even allow to install Dolphin (except for some antique builds). If your phone is 64 bit, SD450 can play a few GC games with some setting tweaks. If you want more games, try to get a more powerful smartphone with Snapdragon 665, 712, 720G, 730(G), 732(G), 765, 835, 845, 855(+), 865(+). Be aware that some games require MMU and will be slow even on SD865(+). I use a Redmi Note 9 Pro with 720G which runs about 90% GC games very well. Some of them may require an underclock for emulated CPU speed to 60, 40 or 20, or even a custom build MMJ[R].
