Oh, so you're in Germany. Then that's not too expensive at all, I think it's even a pretty good price! Smile computer parts are just more expensive in Europe… (I'm in France and I know how much more expensive it is when compared to the US, for example.)

Hey i didnt get the PC last year but now i want to buy it. Now i think i will take the gtx 1050 instead of the 750ti.

Is this a good idea?

So now it will look like this:

-Intel Core i3 6100 2x 3.70GHz So.1151 BOX (115€)
-ASRock H110M-ITX Intel H110 So.1151 (67€)
-8GB Crucial CT2K4G4DFS8213 (52€)
-2GB Palit GeForce GTX 1050 StormX (111€)

You'll run Dolphin flawlessly in high resolutions. Rogue Squadron *might* lag a little? I get 80 fps on my haswell at 4.6 ghz. That's pretty much the only game so demanding that requires absurdly high clock speeds and will get less demanding whenever somebody fixes HLE audio in that game, but I imagine the Skylake arch should close the gap on that a little.

thanks for the quick response. is the 1050 better than the 750ti for dolphin? does it matter at all?

i hope rogue squadron runs good, i love that game Sad

Also what OS should i use? win7, win10 or a linux? Does it matter?

1050 is better http://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Nvidia-GTX-750-Ti-vs-Nvidia-GTX-1050/2187vs3650
Both are nvidia and there is few driver issues with them AFAIK
Linux drivers might be slightly worse but probably not notably.
If not win10 you are missing out on dx12, but that's getting removed if it becomes a maintenance burden.
So really it's your choice of OS for other things.

For NVIDIA, it doesn't matter at all which OS you use. The Linux proprietary driver is as fast as on Windows.

Also, there's Vulkan now anyway, so who cares about D3D12 Wink

Don't recommend unmaintained GPU backends. Tongue

If you don't want to use OpenGL for some reason on nvidia, use Vulkan. On nvidia, OpenGL is almost as fast as those two APIs anyways and we're not GPU limited.

It performs roughly the same, unless you're using an AMD GPU, in which case D3D is much faster.
