N64 Texture Pack Issue?

I'm using an N64 emulator and currently making texture packs. However, for some reason, some textures just stay the same, even though I'm 100% sure I edited them. This also happens when downloading and using other ones. For example, in SSB64, most stages only appear to have edited backgrounds and other elements, but the stage textures themselves (the floors, walls, etc.) remain unedited, even though I saw the pack included floor/wall textures. Does anybody have any ideas?

No one will have any ideas until you tell us which emulator you're using and how you're trying to edit the textures. You could be using Photoshop and Project 64, or maybe editing a Virtual Console .wad with a hex editor (Virtual Consoles are technically emulators so...) Each requires different advice.

I am using PJ64 1.6 with Mudlord's Rice Plugin 6.1.4. I am dumping the textures and editing them in paint. And sorry, I don't have Photoshop Sad

Please don't use that plugin.

Use Glide64 instead.

Didn't he also work on Glide64 though? I thought he was the main dev behind that?

AA is extremely easy to add with both AMD and nvidia control panels to Glide64/PJ64. MSAA, SSAA, TRAA, HSAA, etc. all work flawlessly without any issues.

AMD will take the CPU speed crown back before Intel adds AA options to their control panel.

True. But why the hell are you using an Intel GPU? Unless it's a laptop. Then I can understand.
