I recently updated Dolphin 4.0.2 to 4.0-6765. I had Project M mostly working on my old version, but it would crash after twenty minutes or so of gameplay. Dolphin would also crash whenever I tried to close it while using the Direct3D backend (needed for Paper Mario, other than that I used OpenGL and it worked fine), and I had to force it to close with task manager. I figured these issues might be ironed out on a newer version.
Well, Project M doesn't crash anymore, but whenever I leave the menus and go into a stage for the first time after starting it up it shows me the message in the attached image. I can click "OK" once or twice and the game will continue, but it runs a little slower than it did on 4.0.2. I tried playing Soul Calibur 2 and the same error message appeared when I left the menus and went into a stage, except the lag was a lot worse. Metroid Prime gets the same error message, and won't run because the message never goes away no matter how many times I close it. When I switch from OpenGL to Direct3D the error message doesn't appear anymore, but the lag is twice as bad. I was running at 4x native resolution, so I tried playing it on 1x native with both backends and that didn't help.
My specs:
Windows 8 64-bit
Intel i5 4690k @ 3.5GHz
GeForce GTX 970
8GB DDR3 RAM
