Sad
Hello everybody,

So.. I'm having an issue with Dolphin playing MySims Kingdom, and I have multiple glitches that occur.

First of all, if I tried to play with fast or middle texture cache, it won't show some letters, which is extremely stupid. setting it to "safe" makes all the letters show, but makes the game very slow, at about 6-13 FPS.

The second issue is that when I make a new game and try to customize the character by clicking on parts of the character, it doesn't change it, yet the buttons around the character work just fine. Huh

Additionally, there is an entirely different problem. When I go into paint mode, after selecting a texture, I try to apply it to a block, and nothing happens as if I weren't doing the right motion. Left click is "A", and it says "To paint, press A and wave your brush over the blocks you want to color", but it seems to not work at all.

I have tweaked with the settings quite a bit, and I am unable to make the game fast without losing letters. Also, I didn't get this game via pirating, it's from a legitimate disc.

Does anyone know a fix for this? Thanks.

What are your Dolphin settings? Click the Config button and look at the General tab. Click on the Graphics button and look at the General, Enhancements, and Hacks tabs. Those are usually the most relevant settings we need to know. There's not a lot of info on this game for Dolphin, but you could try setting EFB Copies to RAM and enable the cache. Your issues appear to all be graphical, and EFB Copies to RAM is more accurate than Texture, so it might do something to help.

Some things to try:

Switch EFB Copies to RAM instead of Texture, enable the cache.
Untick Display List Cache, the speedup is negligible and causes crashing in my experience.
Untick Disable Per-Pixel Depth and Skip Dest. Alpha Pass.
Make sure the External Frame Buffer (XFB) is disabled. It shouldn't be on except for some games that specifically need it.

Glad to see Derpy Hooves has her fans too Wink

I've followed your instructions, and for some reason, the letters are still screwed up, at some points. I can paint now, though! The game is a little laggier now, but it is nice to be able to paint. Thank you. Big Grin
