1000 VEF -> ~240 USD is the exchange rate. That doesn't mean 1000 VEF will buy a 240USD card in his country.

If you don't mind a much longer waiting time, you might actually be better off trying to order from someplace based in the US that ships internationally to see if you can get a better deal (Amazon ships pretty much anywhere in the world, for instance). It'd just be a shame if you had to pair up such a good processor with a low-budget card.

about venezuela, the goberment is in control of USD, so is very hard to get $$, we have to use the black market where 1$=11 bsf, that is the real price on the streets, unless you are a very high profile person in the goberment

so 100$ = is around 1100bsf

well, that is the reality in venezuela, the most corrupt country in the world, i can assure you that

everything is very expensive because getting USD to import stuff is very hard to find, and way too expensive every month going up the prices, so the people connected to the government are the merchants who controls all the markets in the country.

i realize it may be not in that price range, but get a radeon 6850, its a crime to get the integrated level gpu for that rig. And the 6850 while being sufficiently cheap, beats the competition by far and actually plays more demanding games with adequate speed. You will not be disappointed.

2000.. currency, recalculating on a 1:11 basis, that would be $180, about the same it costs over here in Europe.
