My Video Card burned I need a new one

Hello,

I used to have the best video card I ever had, It filled all my needs and is all I needed, a MSI GT240 DDR3 1GB, it played all the games I ever wanted to play, I'm not a demanding gamer.

Unfortunately, it burned itself, I've no Idea why, maybe because I had 2 years with it.

I need to buy a video card that is cheap, and works the same or atleast a little better than my GT240, don't mind my budget, the price should be near the GT240 price aswell.

What kind of GPU are you looking for?
What kind of games do you play and at what settings?

If I were you, I'd get a decent GPU like a 550Ti/6850 atleast.

I bought this PC a week ago, my budget is very limited, I can't say what my real budget is because I ain't american, I'm from Venezuela, and currency changes are wrong, because I know they are.

I can try to say atleast I'm in a budget from 0~80$ I guess.
Currency changes are wrong, 1000 Bolivares(my country money) says is 240$ USD, when that is total fake.

I'm looking for a video card that works flawlessly like my GT240 or a little better.

I want to play league of legends, mirror's edge, silent hill series all of them, and all of the resident evil series games aswell, and ofc Wii.

The GT240 is NOT in my country !!! T_T hyper sad face, only used models there ain't any new models for selling, only the GT520, but ppl say it's slower than the GT240

The HD5770, which costs 1000Bs is your best choice.
It's twice as fast as your GT240.

How is that fake? 1000 VEB does equal around 240USD. I looked at a lot of money convertors online and they all say the same thing. Well at least the ones that are up to date.

How can all these sites be wrong. I think TC here has a lot more money than he thinks he does to spend.

Judging from what I found out 1000 VEF9/(VEB?) is about 233USD. If this is the case then he can get a really good card. So please TC explain to me how you got 80USD out of a 1000VEF/VEB when all those money convertors are up to date?

I think you should be happy that its worth a lot more than what you thought it was.
