Moved to the Android subforum.

In the past, Dolphin always saved to a folder named dolphin-emu. Could you go to Settings > User Data and check where Dolphin is saving right now? If it's not the dolphin-emu folder, please move the contents of the dolphin-emu folder into the new folder.

The reason why Dolphin has started using a new folder now is Scoped Storage. You're supposed to be able to keep using the old folder until you uninstall Dolphin, but unfortunately there's a bug in Android 11 that makes this stop working if you reboot your device.

If you manage to copy the contents of the dolphin-emu folder into the scoped storage folder (Android/data/org.dolphinemu.dolphinemu/files), please say so. What's your exact phone model?

I just copied the old folder contents into the new one, it's reading the savetates which doesnt work on the newest version of dolphin, and the memory card saves are not showing up... im using Poco F3, (i used my laptop to copy the contents via usb)

Can you check if the files actually copied into the new folder successfully? If they did, check it the memory card settings match what you were previously using (memcard file or GCI Folder). If they didn't, then maybe this is the same problem I'm having @JosJuice...

yep checked GC/USA/Card A folder, all my gamecube saves are in the new folder... Then i booted up dolphin and tried a game.. nope, it's not detecting my save/saves. i was using memory card which wasnt detecting the saves, i tried the gci folder option it is detecting the saves but they're all corrupted.

So you're not getting the permission issues I get. Good. But that means there's something potentially worse going on. Do you have the desktop version of Dolphin to test those saves?

Oh, that's not good Sad

Savestates not working after the update is normal, but I don't know what would cause the saves in the GCI folder to get corrupted.
