My Pokemon XG has shadow glitching and now says there is no story data

I have been playing Pokemmon XG and have been having this issue where there are shadows glitching on every floor surface. And today, the save started saying "this save does not contain any story data. Does anyone know how to deal with this? I would attach the save file, but the forum isn't letting me
