Back roughly around 2003-2004, I had a Celleron 333Mhz, and one of the things about that PC was it's ability to run first and second generation game consoles flawlessly (First Gen being NES, Atari, and Game Boy, second generation being SNES, Sega Genesis, and Game Gear). However when I tried to run N64 games, it practically choked (5fps on Super Mario 64 anyone). Then we went out and got me an AMD Duron 1.3Ghz, which opened up third generation console gaming (N64, PSX, and also started running GB Color at this time) (Just for the record, if it is not listed, I did not have an emulator or games for it), and I dared not go any farther, as I was having too much fun with UltraHLE. Then we got my Intel Core2Duo 1.6Ghz, which opened up some of the 4th generation as I started using N64 (PJ64 and 1964), GBA and DS emulators on it, then eventually started using Dolphin, which of course I did not expect it to run full speed.

The system I got now can run all systems in the first 4 generations and about 15-20% of the current generation (Wii, have yet to test it with PS3, XBox360, DSi, and 3DS)
  • Intel Core i7-2600 QC processor (8MB Cache, 3.4GHz)
  • CPU Instructions : MMX, SSE (1, 2, 3, 3S, 4.1, 4.2), EM64T, VT-x, AES, AVX
  • ATI Radeon HD 5670 1GB GDDR5
  • RAM: 8GB DDR3 SDRAM at 1333MHz
  • Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit

Game Critique from 1999: We will hopefully never see a game like Link's Super Archery Contest. If we did then I think Link would become just another me-too character. - Link's Crossbow Training

Just as it says. I have yet to try a lot of GC and Wii games on here.

I think he was referring to that fact that you said "have yet to test it with PS3, XBox360, DSi, and 3DS".

There aren't any 3DS, xbox360, or ps3 emulators and there won't be for another decade thanks to their inherent complexity.

He's referring to the percentage of games that run fullspeed for him, not the average speed of his games. In other words he's saying that 15-20% of the games he has tried run fullspeed.

Regardless I find that strange. His specs should be able to run nearly anything at fullspeed. LReyome can I have a look at your settings please?
