I am trying to run Mario Galaxy but its going slower than it should for my specs:
Ivy bridge 2.9GHz Dual Core
6GB RAM
Nvidia 650M Graphics
This is a lap top. Basic settings. HLE emulation. dual core enabled... Lock threads to cores and dsp on thread enabled. Everything else basic
Why am I only getting 58% speed on mario galaxy? I should get faster than that

Your laptop is probably overheating.
Asus Laptop: K53TA
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium, 64-Bit - SP1
CPU: AMD Llano A6-3400M, Quad-Core, 1.4GHz-2.6GHz (Overclocked)
GPU: AMD Radeon HD6650M, 1GB GDDR3 (Catalyst 13.1)
RAM: Samsung 4GB DDR3-1333

Check your temp.

Btw "LLE on Thread" is useless if you're using HLE

You should get 100%.
Do you have latest nvidia drivers installed ?
Which dolphin version do you use ?
Post a screenshots of settings, and one in game screnshot where you get 58% speed.
Did you enable AA ( antialiasing ) by any chance ?

The temps shouldnt matter because CPU-Z is still showing 2.9GHz while I am playing dolphin. No AA enabled. Running version 766

http://i46.tinypic.com/aafae9.jpg Theres my settings No AA version 766 CPU-Z showing 2.9GHz

You can see LLE enabled on those settings... but even when I switched to HLE it didnt make a difference

1- Try with Dolphin 3.0 or very latest builds (3.0-83X/84X)
2- Post your settings

Is the GPU being used? Is it running at idle clocks?

Check your temps, don't look at CPU-Z.
