my generic usb joystick doesnt work

a few months ago I could play with my usb joystick but now I can only play with the keyboard. I have configured the usb joystick as a GC's obviously, but still not working. anyone knows how to fix this?

Give more information.

configure it as a wiimote
drop down list - select classic extension press config...

the gc config is only for GameCube games...
the wii is using the Classic Controller...

next time use the search function
if your controller is working while configuration...
why shouldn't it work in the game?
wrong plugin used...
Could some one write a big red title into the gc plugin (Only for GameCube games! For Wii Games use tha Wiimote and Select Classicc Extension)

well I didnt know, since I could play with a GC joystick on a WII

jeah but the GC gamepad is labeled in every wii documentation and while gaming

why the GC controller only works with the keyboard?
I configureded it as a classic control and it works fine except the triggers dont
