I'd like to start out by saying that I've been attempting to Google a solution to this problem for days. All I get is fixes for real Wiimotes, and the like.

My emulated Wiimote never works, not for normal IR scanning, not for M+, not for playing simple games (Mario Galaxy, for example.) Not only does it not work, but it never even gets detected.

I've tried configuring both the Wiimote AND the nunchuk on my 360 controller, mouse&keyboard, touch pad (just in case my razer naga was incompatible) and straight up keyboard alone. None of them will even allow games to so much as detect my emulated wiimote. This is with a plethora of settings I'm not even going to begin to name outside of telling you that I've tried both with and without M+ enabled.

The farthest I've been able to get in any Wii game is "Please connect your wiimote" sometimes "to the nunchuk" others "to the motion plus device." It doesn't matter how I've tried to configure the damn thing, the wiimote just will not be detected; it's beginning to get very frustrating.

I'm thinking about just attempting to download a new version of the Dolphin emulator entirely, but somehow I bet that'd just add to the frustration. Any advice or information would be Godsend. Thank you in advance.

P.S. I'm running Dolphin 3.0-243 with the M+ upgrade software. I've played a couple of Gamecube games w/ my 360 controller and they work perfectly fine w/ the controller as well as mouse and keyboard. It's only taking things to the Wii category of games where it refuses to function.

Which bluetooth driver do you use? BlueSoleil? MS stack? Toshiba stack?

None. I was under the impression that those were for running a makeshift or homebrewed wiimote, not emulating a non-external device. Is it still required if I wish to use the mouse to emulate wii IR controls?

ah yeah, you use an emulated wiimote. Well, did you map all the buttons correctly?

Download a regular version of Dolphin, and only use the Motionplus build you have solely for Motionplus games. You might want to check for updates on your Motionplus build in the official thread.

And yes, you can use your mouse to control the IR. Make sure you set the directions with CursorX+/-, CursorY+/- and not AXIS.

Sarcasm aside, I'm inclined to ask; is there an incorrect way to map keybindings? If using the A button on my controller or the E key on my laptop would be considered incorrect, then yes. I've tried the mouse for the IR, the right analog stick on the controller for the IR, the left stick for the nunchuk (while having the extension enabled,) WASD for the nunchuk stick, and such. I've looked at guides for Skyward Sword (which still didn't work) as well as basic setups. I modify them slightly to my own desired layout, but they don't veer much. I really don't understand why this won't work for me.

+1. You, sir, are a champion. I had downloaded my version of Dolphin from a 3rd party website, didn't know it was older. Your advice worked like a charm. Not sure if it's due to the outdated version or the fact that I upgraded to M+. Thanks a lot.
