As far as I can tell from following tutorials and instructions everything should work fine but when I try to play a game (Pikmin 1 gamecube version) my audio and video seem sped up. My characters more at least twice as fast as he should and the audio keeps peaking with high pitched crystaline sound like if I went nuts in audacity increasing the speed or tempo without adjusting the pitch

I use DSP LLE as I heard it's supposed to make the audio less glitchy than DSP HLE but otherwise I haven't changed anything.

it works fine in the menues but once I start the game (see space) the audio starts peaking and once I have control my character is moving far too fast.

Under Config-Basic Settings.
Change "Framelimit" to Auto and make sure "Limit By FPS" is off.

Oh wow yeah that did it! I'm used to locking my games' framerates due to often recording and bandicam locking it anyway didn't think it'd make the game play on "fast forward" thanks!
