Sometimes these things happen when staying up-to-date, not saying its bad. But usually there is going to be that one dev. version that introduces a regression because of some new feature added, and until that regression gets discovered and resolved who knows when it will be.
I would download the one that was working perfect with "Direct3D" but unfortunately I don't remember what build that was. I always download the latest builds, because I would expect better improvements, but however that's not always the case.
