Multiple Controllers

Can Dolphin on android support multiple controllers? Can android emulators do that in general? I'm thinking about using the new Nexus 7 as a retro gaming hub.

Well I know tablets won't be powerful enough at least for a few years but is multiple controller support something android has? Lets say for right now can I play SNES games multiplayer?

If you plug in a USB hub you can connect multiple controllers. Most android emulators support this. Dolphin mobile doesn't support it currently
