So the game runs perfect in single player and 2player once we add a third person into the game starts getting choppy and low fps.

Overclocking the GPU has improved my FPS for 4 Player mode. Might wanna make sure you overclock that CPU also.

But to be honest, overclocking is a must for Dolphin if you want to play most games at fullspeed.

Also, for Heaven's sake, please enable Dual Core mode. PLEASE

Uhm okay. Let's take a look at your specs again:

Intel Core i7-3930K
ASUS Rampage IV Formula
G.SKILL Sniper Gaming Series 32GB
Noctua NH-D14
EVGA SuperClocked GeForce GTX 570
SAMSUNG 840 Pro Series 256GB

Sorry, I can't stop laughing right now. You got a top-notch cooler made specifically for overclocking.
If you don't want to overclock, why did you waste that much money then?

Jokes aside, you really need to overclock that CPU. (You should still enable Dual Core mode though) <- sorry Tongue.

on my system i dont have any problem with mario kart 4 player

i5-4670k
zotac gtx 760 amp
8gb kingston hyperx ram
Samsung 840pro 512GB

it works like a charm on 60 fps

but i have enabled a few things
enable dual core
disabled dsplle on seperate thread
disabled dump audio

and resolution on auto (multiple) but here u can use windowed (much better performance)
anti aliasing 8 samples quality level 32)
Anisotropic filtering 16x
and vsync on...

try to disable HT feature of the i7... it slows down every game... thats why i bought the i5 =)

and test with msi afterburner which component of your computer did not bring the power... i think its the grafikcard

P.S. YES the Noctua is for Overclocking!!!

Your 4th gen i5 is much faster than his 2nd gen i7 (Sandy Bridge-E) in Dolphin . That's why you don't have any problem

maybe in dolphin but his cpu have more power than my i5 (on the specs) i think
his cpu would be more powerful if he disable the hyperthreading in bios... hyperthreading is crap for gaming... it only slow down your pc =(

maybe he can post a screen of the usage in msi afterburner. there we could look which part of his computer is not powerful enough

i5 is based on the same architecture. Your i5 is basically an i7 without Hyperthreading.

Your cpu is faster than his. Period. (I don't want to go into detail here, it has been discussed lots of times).

You can always use the Dualcore Netplay branch, I confirmed it to work on Mario Kart Double Dash.

Without the dualcore netplay branch you will not sync on netplay and things will go bad.
