Multiplayer issues in Mario Party 7

Hello,

First of all sorry if this was covered some where else, I tried searching google and on the forums and I could not find a thread or a solution at all.

Currently a few friends and I are trying to play Mario Party 7. We get into game fine for the most part, but when it comes to playing a multiplayer game only player 1 is recognized and it automatically sticks us with computer players not giving any of the real players a chance to play. I am not sure if it is a software issue or if there are some sort of settings we haven't been doing.

Any sort of help would be appreciated.

Here are my settings (which are the same for everyone else trying as well):

General - http://gyazo.com/b318ababe67bf59fdd4ea8153034ce0d
Interface - http://gyazo.com/e92a6c5b9dc3dd4d0d665c126da4c8da
Gamecube - http://gyazo.com/c953ee8856470be28da73e7738a09dfc
I have tried changing the Ports, but when I change them or select them all I only get a black screen when starting up the game.

On that Gamecube tab you have to change the other ports below Port 1 to 'standard controller' for as many controllers as you want players so it detects those controllers as being plugged in.

Right, but as I said every time we do that when we try to load up the game we all just get a black screen and nothing loads so I was asking if there is any solution to that. Sorry. =/

MP 7 does not need any special settings according to the wiki : http://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=Mario_Party_7
But it looks like the last successful test was revision 7540. Not sure if you want to go back that far, but it may be worth a try.
Also try to redump your game. I have played MP 7 before (NTSC) and know it works in general.

Even if a revision that old does work with no errors specific to MP 7, that doesn't mean it's free of other general Dolphin bugs (issues with memory cards, save states, etc), that were fixed in newer revisions. Old revisions aren't supported here on the forums. The OP should try 3.0 since that's the last official release and you confirmed that the game runs fine on it. At least your sig says you use 3.0, dunno if you actually tested MP 7 on it.
