before you start reading you should know im assuming you know some general photoshop functions and such and i suck with guides and the resulted 3D image sucks cause bloody roar was a horrible choice to make this guide with. that is why i have a few example uploaded i made before this
anyway, step one, make 2 screenshots of your game 1 is for the left and the other is for the right. this means that one image should be more to the right (for the right eye). this is where the free look comes in handy for example: bloody roar first screenshot (for right eye) . this is a regular screenshot. then i used free look to move everything to the left and got this then i copied them both into the same file as layers in photoshop. making the upper layer have a transparency of 50% you can see both image and align it right so you have a center of your 3D image. in my case this is the characters now adjust/cut the edges of the image so you dont have issues with it (clearly see-able in my image for the left eye ) once thats done, reset the transparency and save each layer in a jpg (recommended is to add a L or R to say which eye the image is for) now open StereoPhoto maker and go to file->open left/right images... and open the right images for the depending eye now go the file->save MPO name the MPO something like HAL_0001.MPO the 3DS MPO's name needs to be 3 letters followed by a underscore and then ending with 4 numbers. now make a copy of the left eye image and name it the same as the MPO but instead of .MPO call it .JPG copy both to the 3DS folder and enjoy NOTE : the 3DS MPO images are limited in their size. i think the limit was something like 640x480 and here are some MPO examples all my normal MPO images : http://upload.dacotaco.com/MPO_Files_normal.zip some -mature- MPO images (hey, this is the internet man) : http://upload.dacotaco.com/MPO_Files_mature.zip 07-15-2011, 09:19 AM
Thanks, Daco. My laptop passed away and I can't try it right now. It definitely looks like what I did with the JFG image, but I didn't get the effect. Gonna try your method.
