the keys that are normally used to move in games, just move the camera in this game. i configured some other keys that i thought would make the character move but they also just move the camera. what keys do i have to configure to move the character in this game?

I would assume it's the nunchuck joystick

If not try D-pad

both nunchuk joystick and d pad move the camera. Nobody else has this problem, there must be someone who's played this game on dolphin.......

Did you map the Stick (up, down, left, right) of the nunchuk extension?

I have a real Wiimote, but I've just tried to configure the emulated wimmote with the keyboard and if I configure the nunchuk extension with the usual WASD key for the stick, in Dead Rising I can move the character...probably you have the same keys configured twice...
