Move Last Story save to an SD card?

As the title says I want to move my last story save to an SD card to use on my PC. The problem is the option is grayed out in file management. I've read that online wii games will not let you copy save game data to SD cards but is there any way around this?

If your Wii is homebrewed, you can use a savefile manager to copy it to your SD card.

I do have the homebrew channel it's how I backup my wii games to my PC for use.
