I have the American version of Super Mario Galaxy 2 (SB401?). Since I have to point for certain things and use the joystick on the nunchuck for general movement (and I don't have a USB sensor bar), I want to play with the nunchuck in my left hand and the computer mouse in my right hand, while the Wiimote just lies around (because I don't have a third hand).

I've set mouse up/down/left/right to IR up/down/left/right and that works fine, except that it only does so sometimes. The in-game cursor appears and disappears seemingly randomly, sometimes for a second, sometimes for 10 minutes, sometimes until I restart the emulation or change the configuration of the controller and change it back.

How can I make the cursor reliable?

This was kinda answered in your other thread, but Hybrid Wiimote is just not very good. If you only use emulated Wiimote, do you still have this issue?

And this is with the real Wiimote disconnected and turned off, and Dolphin controller explicitly set to Emulated Wii Remote?

If you click the reset to default button, does that help?

Emulated Wiimote works fine, just tried it. I'll see if that's also ok for me. I was pretty sure that it didn't work, but apparently it does.
