MotionPlus accessory PC compatibility

I've been thinking of getting a motionplus accessory for my old original wiimotes, just to get motionplus working on the pc as I haven't played wii in years.

Is that accessory fully recognized?
Are there any versions (diff. firmware, non originals, etc.) that I shouldn't buy? I'm getting the accessory/attachment/expansion, and not a new controller with it built in.

The original accessory is fully supported.

If you're planning to buy a third-party accessory, you're on your own to figure out if it works or not.
Some might work.
I can't vouch for any third-party accessories.
