Motion Plus Connection State

Hi All,
I'm fairly new to the Dolphin code base and I'd like to get some help looking in the right direction.

Note- I'm using windows 7, 64-bit, with VS2010. Dolphin Build 3.0-898. (RVL-CNT-01-TR with no additional attachments)

I have a couple of the new Wii Motion Plus Inside Wiimotes (RVL-CNT-01-TR).
I have them connected and working in Dolphin and in WiiYourself, however I cannot seem to get the Motion Plus data from it. The buttons, rumble, LEDs, and speaker all work... the Motion Plus Data never seems to get populated.

I've seen the wm_motionplus_data struct referenced in the WiimoteEmu.cpp class. I've put breakpoints in the WiimoteEmu::GetExtData method but they never get hit.

Is the motion plus data supported in the current version of dolphin?
If so, how can I enable the motion plus data reporting?

I've seen some info on wiibrew (http://wiibrew.org/wiki/Wiimote/Extension_Controllers/Wii_Motion_Plus) regarding the data register address modifications. I can see in Wiiyourself that it detects an 'extension' of unknown type, however I can't get it to actually detect that the device is motion plus, let alone that it is connected.

Thanks
