Hello! I haven't seen this issue come up yet for others, but if it has already been addressed, my apologies.
The first thing, as you know, Skyward sword attempts to do is calibrate the motion plus accessory. On the rare occasion, I can get the mechanism to sync, and can enjoy the game until batteries in one device or another run out. Flawless execution from beginning to end. HOWEVER, for the most part, the configuration screen just endlessly cycles through the instructional screens (attach the nunchuck, lay the device flat, etc.) and doesn't pause long enough on the actual calibration screen (with the spinning controller icon) long enough to actually finish the damned job. I don't know how, or why, but eventually and after a long time, Dolphin gets wise, Skyward gives me OK, and off I go a-swingin' and a-slashin'. Any ideas as to how I can shorten the process or at least what I'm doing right when I finally get the thing to work, because I cannot find a pattern.
I'm rockin' a 64x Windows with build 3.5-1917. The game runs FLAWLESSLY, and getting dolphin to recognize the controller is simple. The motion plus is NOT an official Nintendo one, however, and therein may lie the problem.
Thanks so much for giving this a read, and I appreciate any input.
