Hello.
Recently I bought not original "Motion 2 in 1" Wiimote + Nunchuck from AliExpress (http://ru.aliexpress.com/item/Portable-Electronic-USB-Rechargeable-Lighter-Flameless-Superman-Cigar-Cigarette-Lighter-Silent-Windproof-No-Gas-Gadget-Case/32392317380.html), waited for it for almost two months. It finally arrived across half the planet and my Bluetooth adapter couldn't detect it (my BT is Asus BT-400).
I tried a hack found on forums - to install Toshiba Bluetooth drivers and make it think your adapter is made by Toshiba - but with no success.
Does it only connects to Wii or there's another hack there hiding from me?

Afaik, only a few of 3rd party Wiimotes work with Dolphin , the rest just don't work at all
We recommend user to buy original Wiimote from Nintendo . Don't bother with 3rd party Wiimotes , they're a waste of time and money
Up till now , I own 4 original non-TR wiimotes , all of them work just fine
The thing is ... Dolphin is an emulator , not the real console . So there should be a compatibility issue
If you were using Wii Bluetooth Module , there is a chance that it could work with Dolphin
However you have to sacrifice a Wii for this and no one can tell it could work either

I guess I'll check if it connects to console itself in a store (if I could find one which still has Wii in stock). -___-

Just because it'll connect to a console doesn't mean it'll connect to Dolphin.

Working with non-linux bluetooth stacks makes it fairly difficult to mimic the Wii's bluetooth functionality exactly. Combine that with the fact that 3rd party Wiimotes vary so much in expected behavior that it's really difficult to support every controller.

So we just support the 1st party ones made by Nintendo.

If you use Linux, you should be able to use 3rd party Wiimotes with this PR: https://github.com/dolphin-emu/dolphin/pull/3865
This is not possible on Windows though.

And yes, 3rd party Wiimotes don't implement the specs correctly, as they are only discoverable with LIAC, and furthermore, they don't support SDP… (at least, mine doesn't and I'm still trying to get the HID working with bluez.)

I have a motion 2 in one that works, but it doesn't have a logo like the link you sent. Make sure you are using the sync button.

I have the exact same one (in red though) and it needs the PR to be detected.

Oh, I guess I can install Ubuntu or another Win-user-friendly Linux just for playing on Dolphin. Smile

If you do, don't forget to use the proprietary NVIDIA driver for the best performance.
