I have encountered a rather annoying problem with the newer builds of Dolphin. I used to make my own builds several months ago, stopped playing, and got a recent build a week ago. I am currently on Revision 7040.

The problem I am having is that whenever I run any games a horrible screeching comes from my computer, similar to dialup internet tones. It sounds as if my motherboard hates the newer builds of Dolphin, but I can't figure out why. If anyone else had this error it would be great to know of some sort of resolution.

That is rather strange. Typically motherboards will only make noises when there's a problem with the hardware. Try making sure all your drivers are up to date. Other than that. No clue.

My System specs are as follows:

CPU: Intel Q6600 @ 3.01GHz
GPU: Nvidia 8600GT 512MB (Overclocked a bit)
MoBo: Abit IP35 Pro
Audio Chipset: ALC 888
Ram: 2G DDR2 800MHz
PSU: 650 Watt

But like I said before, the problem only exists with the newer builds. I managed to find an old build (5372) on my external and that doesn't give me the system noise.

It's probably your gpu is making the noise, not your motherboard. I know that the 8600 gt have this circular ring with copper wires surrounding it, forgot what's it called but that little thing can make buzzing noise. It could be a sign that your gpu is dying.
