Im currently playing MKA on dolphin, and though everything works perfect, it seems there are rectangle lines around the shadows of characters during gameplay.
i looked at the Dolphin wiki for this game and it seems the fix for this issue was disabling EFB Scale, however doing so does not fix the issue.
the only way it says to fix this issue is by lowering the resolution to native, which i really don't want to do.

any suggestions?

That's basically what disabling EFB scale does.

Remember those games were never intended to run on such high resolution, as the GameCube/Wii weren't capable of outputting anything higher than 480p. That's why some games have some graphical glitches that appears only at higher internal resolutions.

Anyway, what you can try to do is enabling "Vertex Rounding" option in the graphical settings, if that also doesn't fix the shadows, there's nothing you can do at the moment (other than playing at native internal resolution or with "Scaled EFB Copies" disabled)...
