Hi. I would like to say hello to my new friends on D* forums. Wink To the point now. I have downloaded Dolphin r7128 and got MKA (pal). I did some configurations and game is almost always @ 50 fps, but sometimes (mostly when I do combos or special attacks or combos + special attacks) game has got fps drops. Why is it so? I have seen on yt that guy was doing long combos and had 0 fps drops:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ku-vOEg6IOQ

My settings:

http://img694.imageshack.us/img694/5281/setti.png

Specifications:

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E7600 @ 3,6GHz (SSE4,1)
GPU: ATI Radeon HD 4870 1GB 800/3700MHz
RAM: 2GB DDR2
OS: Win XP Professional SP3
Latest drivers and d-x.

What could be the problem? Something in settings? My specs (which i doubt)? Maybe it' s emulator' s version. Thx for help n advance!

Edit: I have tried to change revision of Dolphin, and acording to IceD_X here:

http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/showthread.php?tid=15209&pid=139326#pid139326

I have changed it to r6901. And it IS working better. Much much better. No fps drops doing combos/special moves (eventually if this is a special move containing fire effect or maybe other effects etc, it will cost you 1fps) but now it only depends on what arena you are playing on. I'm already happy and could play it like it is now, but maybe there is anything else to change to make it even better with these settings:

Hi Lordani Wink

Your config its fine and ok.
Try the option "Start Render in Fullscreen Mode" instead of windowed.
Then Right-click on the little banner for this game.

You can see VBeam Option.
Try with this! Try the 3 options
NOTE: Carefull with this option...this can make alot of speedup, but have certain issues with audio...just try my friend!

Happy gaming! Wink

COOL It' s working! Well i haven' t tried with full screen on start (as I do it manually) but I turned VBeam off and it' s better now (and nothing happened to sound). BTW what I spotted is that for MKA zelda hack (ZTP Hack) is kinda like turned on, but instead of tick it has got "block" (square) next to it, and it looks like its checked. Should I turn it off for MK?

So it looks like this now:

squares mean it will use user settings defined in the individual plugin config menus, empty means off regardless of other settings, check means on regardless of other settings.

Have a look to this thread http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/showthread.php?tid=13727&page=5&highlight=mortal+kombat+armageddon .
Find the post in which I explain how to get this game working. It works like a charm for me
