Hi @ll,

here my specs:

Core²Quad Q6600(@ 2,4Ghz) not OC
4GB RAM
GTX470 xtreme clocked

I was wondering that in some games to max speed I can get it about 50-70%, however, is there a "regular" way I can speed up dolphin?

All game settings set to:
Enable Dual Core
Enable Idle Skipping
- and some
Safe Texture Cache
MMU Speed Hack
Speed Up Disc Transfer Rate

However, I know my CPU isn't the newist, but it's still kicking, and supports the whole SSE & SSSE stuff Wink

Here's an example, Metroid Prime1 at level1 is nearly unplayable with a game speed of 5%, on the other hand, Metroid Prime2 is completly playable at 70-100% gamespeed ö.ö I'm just wondering about this.

And especially for F-Zero GX, is there an option to knock off some stuff, to make it run faster? 70% gamespeed is a bit lame, and with all 29 Bots on the Track even 30% ;(

Thanks in advice

EDIT: forget to say, I'm always using the latest SVN, built by myself.
Running on...
INTEL Core²Quad Q6600(non OC, 2,4Ghz)
4 GB RAM
GTX 470 xTreme Clocked

Avg. FPS: 40 / 60 (depending on which game and console)
Avg. EMU-Speed: 70-80%

Tick EFB to Texture. Turn off safe texture cache.

Your CPU is a bit slow - overclocking to 3.2ghz would help.

Thanks for the fast reply u guys :]

EFB to Texture doesnt seem to make a difference, well, maybe 1-2fps (I didnt count it ;p), but it makes some GFX glitches, at least in F-Zero, that's all I've noticed.

Ocerclocking my CPU isnt a good idea, I gave it a try back in the days and with just 2.6Ghz OC'd it exceeded the temp limit of ~140°F, even with my OC cooler(lol) Zalman ö.ö
