ok i know now what he mean beside, but my chase hase no name on it. i bought it in one peace and dont remember where i got the bill where the name stay.

Well it's an am2+ board so it should work with a phenom II cpu (though it will be slower than if he had an AM3/AM3+ board with DDR3 ram). And his power supply should easily be able to handle it. Considering his budget it only enough for the cpu I think it's settled then. Get a phenom II 955 cpu.
