Hello, first post here..

Me and my brother want to play MHTri over 2 PC's multiplayer locally via dolphin, is it possible? Our PC's are high end and could handle the emulation well enough.

Yes it's possible. Just to make sure, you mean the local multiplayer that MH3 supports correct, e.g. the one where two people would normally sit in front of the same Wii and screen with two controllers? That's supported via Dolphin's netplay. Have a look at the Dolphin 3.0 Netplay Guide. Most of the settings and such should apply to 3.5 and above, however, users have reported less desyncing on 3.0 as opposed to newer builds (that may have changed recently, always try the latest builds first).

If you're trying to play via the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connect, e.g. true online play via Nintendo's own network, there's a branch that can do that. Getting all of the necessary files, however, isn't exactly a simple process. But it sounds like all you wanted was the first kind of multiplayer I mentioned above.
