Monster Hunter Tri broken in latest revisions

On the latest revisions, when 3d graphics are being displayed in monster hunter tri (even the character creation screen) the framerate drops to 2 fps on directx renderers. OpenGL gets 25 fps.

I'm not sure what the problem is, but its definitely broken.
(as you can see below in my sig, I have no problem running games @ full speed.)

Please look into this.

7gb DDR3 RAM
GEFORCE GTX 560
2 TB HDD
