Monster Hunter 3 not recognizing any of my controls.

I recently got Monster Hunter 3 working on my emulator, and I set up controls for a wii mote and a classic controller (supported in the game) and none of my controls work when I press them. Its really making me mad I can not figure this out because this makes the game unplayable since I cant get past the title screen. Anybody have a similar issue? If it helps I have the Logitech F310 gamepad.
