Monster Hunter 3 Demo Freeze After Select Mode

This happened with two builds, an older one, and a fresh new 2.0 unmodified other than controller config.

The same problem happened on both builds. I selected which of the two dinosaurs I wanted to hunt, and the FPS dropped to 1, and the music started stuttering and stays like that.

Anybody know how to fix it? My PC should be enough to handle the emu in general. Specs below, thanks.

same is happening to me when I try and select a monster. I've tried two different builds and nothing has worked.

So nobody has a solution? Oh well guess I'll have to wait till the full game is released...
