There are some games that require MMU. Are they slow everywhere or only on Android?

MMU emulation is slower on ARM64 than on x86-64. (Most people think of this as "MMU is slower on Android than on PCs" since most Android devices use ARM64 and most PCs use x86-64, but that's not always true.)

So why is Cars 2 (a game that requires MMU) so demanding and slow even on a million-dollar PC?

Cars 2 is a rather special game that can be more demanding than any other MMU game. I'm not actually entirely sure how the developers of the game managed to make it so slow to emulate.
