That was indeed not a funny moment in Family Guy, but I've never seen someone go out of their way to hate on a show like this before (at least, not for this reason). There must be something personal about it for you that makes you not like the show, or you're just a weirdo. Most people find the show to be very funny, including myself. Maybe you're just angry that the Simpsons is crap now, who knows. Either way, Family Guy is loved and is here to stay, you'll have to get over it somehow.

Yeah I love Family Guy and I like the Star Wars Trilogy parody they made.
I like that kind of sick humor.... a lot

Simpsons early seasons is kinda funny, but not that funny today. I stopped watching Simpsons a long time ago though.

What is your definition of "most"? Because I can guarantee you that more than 50% of all people who have watched a family guy episode do not like it. This is true of most cartoons and the ratings seem to agree with me. Just because millions of people like the simpsons does not mean I would claim that most people find the show to be very funny.

I am. Along with all simpsons fans. It's turned into a pile of references to modern trends and memes that repeats popular opinions and doesn't go anywhere. But what does that have to do with family guy being a terrible cartoon?

Some people would say that all those who used to watch the Simpsons no longer do, and that Family Guy being better is the reason.

So, I think I've got it now, you don't care for Family Guy, but maybe time would be better spent talking about a show that you do like instead of one that you don't? I'll look forward to a thread from you about a show you like to watch in the near future?

How on earth did you reach that conclusion? You could easily disprove this assertion by looking at statistics taken of simpsons and family guy viewers and looking at the number of people who have watched both and prefer family guy or the number that continue to watch both.

Well since you seem to care about my personal opinions let me inform you of a few things:
1. I mostly grew up without TV. As such I don't seem to have the same fondness for TV in general that most Americans seem to have. I mainly had to watch the simpsons via DVD. I own seasons 1-14 on DVD.
2. Most of the TV channels that I actually liked have turned into complete shit (discovery, sci-fi, science, history, national geographic, there were a few decent cartoons on nickelodeon but that was about it, etc.).
3. I survive off of torrents these days (yes I'll admit that here)
As such the number of shows I look forward to watching in the future is rather low. Pretty much just dexter and game of thrones. H.B.O. is still producing a lot of really good shows, I should really check out some of them one of these days.

Shows that I would require everyone to watch if I were the leader of a global fascist dictatorship:
-firefly
-the simpsons seasons 4-13
-stargate SG-1 seasons 8-10
-futurama seasons 1-4
-human planet
-band of brothers

At least those are the ones I see looking at my TV series folder on my external HDD, I'm sure there are a lot more if I look through my DVD collection. I highly doubt there are enough simpsons fans here to make a simpsons thread worth it.
