I've used the 30 FPS code to play Mario Kart Wii at full speed on a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge but it's not enough to play at full speed. Does anyone know a 20-15 FPS code that would work? Huh

There isn't a magic AR/Gecko code that will make MKWii run at full speed.

Nor is there one that will cut the framerate in half while keeping the game at full speed.

I think their goal is to emulate the system properly more than just making it work. If they do some magical code to make it run faster it will most likely not emulate properly.

Bingo.

This is a non-trivial reason why most Android devices play a lot of emulators mostly fine and struggle with Dolphin.

1. We don't aim for speed. We aim for accuracy
2. We don't have many people, (most of the time, nobody), working on anything that would help with performance for Android. This is why PPSSPP runs okay. They have multiple people that care very much about mobile perf and functionality.
3. Android devices are not designed to run at max clocks for extended periods of time
4. Dolphin is a torture test for mobile GPU drivers and they all break Dolphin in some way

Really? I thought there was one...

But either way, Mario Kart Wii is probably simply too demanding for your phone. I wouldn't get my hopes up if I were the poster of this thread.

Yeah the 30 fps one they're using, but not from 30->15 Tongue

My goal is run MKW at full speed no matter the framerate. In Time Trails or Wiimmfi 1v1 it goes at full speed but it lags on GP, VS and Battle. I want to find a code that would set the framerate to 20 or 15 FPS so my phone would have less to process and the game would run at full speed.

Can't slowing down the emulator clock speed to 50% do what you want?
