Missing shadows in some games, is there a fix for this?

yeah Luigi's Mension has shadows now, tho they don't seem as nice as on the Cube and wii but it's ok maybe I just need to tweak something. I'm not too worried about that tho I merely used it as an example of a game I first noticed the lack of shadows a while back is all.
I'm mostly concerned with the lack of shadows on Scaler. |
