Missing opengl extensions

when i tried to open Rune Factory Frontier. A window pop up with the follows:
" can't create opengl renderer. you might be missing some required opengl extensions,check the logs for more info"

I'm quite clueless when it comes to computer. can anyone tell me what was wrong? and how do i fix it?

You will probably not be able to use the OpenGL plugin with you GPU.
Use the Direct3D gfx plugin instead.
