missing files for the sysconfig

uh alright I was using dolphin 3.5 and i had no problems, but it would crash after like 20 min of playing which was alright, but i decided to update the emulator to a recent one and after it gets installed i would change my setting or load a Wii game i will get a message saying the IPL.AR file is missing from your sysconfig and i will get another saying that my BT.BAR file is missing from the syscofig along with other various file that is apparently missing from the sysconfig

because of this issue i cant save my settings nor use my xbox controller as a wii mote just like i did last time (i was able to use the xbox controller as a wii mote and nunchuck)

Did you overwrite 4.0 over your old 3.5 install? Also did you install it in Program Files?

yeah i did every thing i tried it with the newer versions above 4.0
and what do you mean by overwriting 4.0 with 3.5, cause all i did was copy 3.5 into the directory of 4.0

i tried deleting my sysconfig and nothing changed...

replace your "documents/dolphin/wii/shared2/sys/SYSCONFIG" file with this one (use the raw link)

I had that problem, so I uninstalled and then reinstalled and it works fine now. Also I would be sure that you use the one from dolphin-emu.org.

my bad, I wrote the wrong location
"c:/users/<you>/documents/dolphin emulator/wii/shared2/sys/SYSCONFIG"
are you sure you put it in the right folder? 4.0+ store config in the my docs folder, not the wii folder next to dolphin.exe
