No. Your cpu is too slow. That's why you're getting such poor performance. My cpu guide does not say that you should be getting fullspeed with those games so I have no idea where you got that idea from.
Use this thread to determine at which IR your GPU becomes the bottleneck: https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-gp...lutions-ir If your gpu isn't the bottleneck then your cpu is.

I'm going to chart FPS and IR: 1x: 14 FPS, 30 VPS, 50% (at quick battle Pokemon Selection Menu of Pokemon Collosseum) 1.5x: 14 FPS, 28 VPS, 48% 2x: 13-14 FPS, 27-28 VPS, 47% 2.5x: 13-14, 28, 46-47% 3x: 13-14 FPS, 28 VPS, 46-47% 4x: 13 FPS, 27 VPS, 46% For the most part, they're all equal in slowness, so there's that. This is with Chrome up and Steam running. Checking Task Manager, Dolphin is taking up 341,000K; second is Steam at 153,000. Chrome is taking up some amount in between the two. I know for PCSX2 you should have more than 2.5 Ghz Dual Core to run optimally; I have 1.5 Ghz but Quad Core, which is still below the bar for it. I assume Dolphin is more demanding by a good amount. I keep my computer well-maintenanced and defrag, virus and malware scan about once a month, if that helps any. If you can help me in any way, I'd be very grateful. Thank you for your time. 09-02-2013, 06:12 AM
GHz alone does not tell you performance - it only works for individual product architectures. In other words, a 2GHz Pentium 4 will be twice as fast as a 1GHz Pentium 4, but even a 3GHz Pentium 4 will be slower than a 1GHz Haswell.
In other news, the desktop versions of the AMD A8 run at around 3GHz, but you're using the mobile version. This is probably why you're seeing lower-than-expected performance.

And as for the chart, that was the lowest it has been; it still isn't good anyways. Any suggestions for increasing speed? 09-02-2013, 07:36 AM

Typically all you can do is overclock your CPU, use an 古ld version of Dolphin, and/or (supposedly) use an ICC-optimized version of Dolphin.
Or buy a GameCube and/or Wii. But there's a couple other things that could help you specifically. First off, your RAM is running in single-channel - regardless of how minimal the impact, it still will have some sort of impact. Secondly, do all you can to make sure Turbo Core is kicking in, which will run your CPU at 2.4GHz when only two cores are loaded - enabling "Lock threads to cores" may help. EDIT: Also you can try using K10stat and force your CPU to run at its fastest P-state. I've only used 10stat on CPUs without turbo core, so I can't tell you how exactly that'll work.

Even A10 5800k @ 3.8GHz barely handle Dolphin (Zelda WW is light-weight game) A good laptop for Dolphin must have the top of the line CPU to keep up with latest Dolphin (i7 4702MQ or i7 4700MQ . Due to the variables in the environment of saves 1 and 3, save 2 in the Wind Waker benchmark has the most reliable results. According to that, a 3.8GHz 5800k gets 41fps - by comparison an i3 2120 @ 3.3GHz gets 40fps.

Dolphin 3.0 is less demanding than Dolphin 3.5 and Dolphin 3.5 is less demanding than latest Zelda WW is a light-weight game -> Other games won't run well on A10 5800k By today standard , a "good enough" CPU for Dolphin must be i5 2500k or better CPU Laptop: Mini PC :: 09-02-2013, 11:04 AM

I think your definition of "good enough" is a bit extreme...
