If you intent to get one of those high-end GPUs + i5 3570k + overclocking , you will need a better PSU . 450W won't cut it (for long term usage , PSU does degrade over time)

I just started the game but so far, Mario Galaxy runs pretty good at 1x with LLE (dx9). Yes there are slight drops but it still at 60fps most of the time. Not sure later on though

Disable Framelimit , plug a decent graphic card in and then compare FPS
http://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-is-more-then-geforce-460-560-required-even-for-1x-internal-resolution
@RpgLord said GTX 660 is the requirement for Mario Galaxy at 4x IR , not the GTX 460
You see how demanding this game is

Hmm got my new Hardware today... but:

Mario Kart - 60 FPS 4x IF
Resident Evil 1 GC - 32 FPS - 4x IF

Resident Evil 4 WII - 30 FPS - 1x IF
Resident Evil 4 WII - 30 FPS - 2x IF
Resident Evil 4 WII - 30 FPS - 4x IF

So only 30 FPS with difference resolutions ?

Is it a 30 fps game? That might be fullspeed for all I know.

@R34P3R

You're already running the game at fullspeed. Running it any faster would be pointless.
