Hi! I've been lurking around these forums for quite a while now, but have never posted until now. I'd like to thank everyone who has contributed to dolphin; I will be going off to college in a couple weeks and will be unable to bring my wii so this emulator is perfect.

Now for my question: How would I go about extracting the midi files from gamecube and wii games using dolphin (specifically Metroid Prime)?

Thanks in advance.

Right-click the game in the menu, choose properties, select the filesystem tab, save whatever files that contaion the midis, but they must probably be decrypted.

I looked at Metroid Prime and all the audio had the .dsp extension, look up that.

no. the files are .brstm. not midis. look on line for arrangements of the song ur looking for. try this: http://www.apollomix.com/

Checkout my latest project ( it is a program that downloads and compiles dolphin on mac and linux now): http://code.google.com/p/dolphin-emu-downloader (It's unofficial and maintained by me, not the dolphin dev team)
