Microphone issues for Mac users

Hi, I am trying to get my microphone to work on mario party 6 and 7 using my MacBook pro.
I set it up in config and even though the option settings
in the game successfully detect my microphone but when i test it,
it shows no sound output, I can't find anywhere on the internet
that gives tutorials as such for mac users, any clue??

Did you remember to allow Dolphin to have access to the microphone? You can check in Settings > Security and Privacy > Microphone. Dolphin should be present there and checked.

Hi thank for the suggestion, I went to the microphone settings but there is no option that allows me to give access to Dolphin, Dolphin is simply not shown on the list of apps   any ideas?
