MGS Twin Snakes cutscene glitches

The game runs perfectly but in cutscenes occasionally the graphics will duplicate and warp, the widescreen also breaks as the areas to the side are not extra but again just garbled bits of the screen in the 4:3 screen.

Any ideas?

Don't use widescreen hack as it'll cause glitches in most games. Use RealXFB to avoid the fadeout artifacts.

Is there any way to use widescreen and not have glitched cutscenes?

The game was designed for 4:3, if you're willing to modify the game greatly, I'm sure you could probably make the cutscenes work. But a cookiecutter widescreen hack is not going to cut it.

Good idea but I still want true widescreen gameplay.
